Why did we decide to build a shed?
Two reasons:

Lori and I tried to sell our house, in preperation we moved most of our belongings into a storage shed to make our house look as big as possible (the house only has 900 sqft)
When we decided to take the house off of the market, and moved everything out of the storage shed, we realized we really needed a place to store everything.

I am a backyard mechanic and do almost all of the wrenching on the motorcycles, cars, and everything else. I have always done all of this work out in the weather under the car port. This doesn't work to well because its still out in the weather and I have to cover everything up, every day.
The other purpose for this shed was to serve as a work area for me to do my work on Motorcycles and everything else. If I tear down an engine and then need wait for parts to arrive, I can simply leave it apart in the shed and not have to worry about parts disappearing and/or anything getting wet or dirty.

Lori and I looked at a shed at Home Depot built by Tuff Shed and decided to see if we could build one, almost identical to it.
