It took 3.5 months (109 days) to build the shed. I could only work on it after work and on weekends, as time allowed.

It cost $5,681.66 for some tools and all of the materials to build the shed. Here is a break down

8/23/2011 - Building permit approved and paid for
8/25/2011 - Cleared ground
8/26/2011 - Digging foundation
9/9/2011 - Got 1 yard of gravel
9/14/2011 - Gravel unloaded
9/24/2011 - Poured concrete
10/1/2011 - Concrete forms pulled
10/7/2011 - first wall up
10/9/2011 - All four walls are up
10/10/2011 - Called for framing inspection
10/17/2011 - Started installing wall sheathing
10/18/2011 - Trusses arrived, carried them to the back yard
10/21/2011 - Wall sheathing installed
10/22/2011 - Trusses put up on the roof
11/5/2011 - Roof sheathing done
11/12/2011 - Hurricane clips installed
11/15/2011 - Shearwall and framing approved. Starting on roofing
11/16/2011 - Tar paper done
11/19/2011 - Roof shingles = 1/2 done
11/25/2011 - Roof shingles are done
11/26/2011 - Loft is done, picked up 20 sheets of siding
12/3/2011 - Siding is done
12/4/2011 - started on trim
12/5/2011 - started building doors
12/7/2011 - 1st door done
12/8/2011 - 2nd door done, ready to get hung
12/9/2011 - 1st door hung
12/10/2011 - 2:57 PM, in 24 degree weather, the shed is DONE! 2nd door hung, all trim is done
